Below is the list of my favorite non-comedogenic and acne-safe makeup products that are ok to use if you have active acne or just want to avoid anything clogging your skin. They shouldn’t cause acne and are non-toxic.
Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation – Alima Pure has an excellent acne-friendly line of products, my first choice!
Alima Pure Balancing Primer Powder (great for very oily skin types, as kaolin in it will help absorb excess oil. It works great as a primer, keeping the skin looking fresh and smooth)
Rejuva Minerals Mineral Foundation (this one is for oily skin types, as it contains kaolinite and boron nitride which absorb excess oil. The same ingredients may be irritating and too drying for other skin types)
BareMinerals ORIGINAL Powder Foundation (available all over the world and well tested with my clients, it is generally very safe for acne prone skin)
100% Pure 2nd Skin Liquid Foundation – this is the ONLY liquid foundation I have found so far that doesn’t break me out and I LOVE it! I am shade 4. You can see my full tutorial on how I do simple natural makeup HERE.
EcoTools Concealer Brush Duo – You definitely want a concealer brush if you don’t have one already, it makes all the difference when covering up the dark circles and spots!
